We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Local storage

We store your UI theme preference (theme: light / dark) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.

4. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (projects, tasks, time entries, report templates, subscription data, and session tokens) is permanently deleted. Anonymised feedback messages may be retained for product improvement purposes.

5. Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access โ€” You can download a full export of your data from Settings โ†’ Your data.
  • Right to erasure โ€” You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings โ†’ Your data.
  • Right to data portability โ€” Your data export is provided in machine-readable JSON format.
  • Right to rectification โ€” Contact us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to object โ€” You may object to processing based on legitimate interest by contacting us.
  • Right to lodge a complaint โ€” You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data transfers

Your data is stored in the European Union. Any third-party services we use (e.g. Polar.sh for payment processing) have their own privacy policies and are bound by data processing agreements where required by GDPR.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Tempo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
